Song and Dance Classes for Adults
with IDD including Autism
Students will sing and dance along to their favorite Broadway shows.
Enjoy performing arts activities and improve social skills. Parents and
friends can plan to join us on the last day of class to see what we’ve
been working on.
This class is open to adults 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs), including autism. Participants should be able to function in groups of up to 15 people with 1:4 staffing; independently meet self-care needs; follow directions; and demonstrate respectful, safe behavior at all times.
Tuesdays from 4:00-5:30pm from
September 20th through November 8th (8 weeks).
You do not need to have any acting experience to participate.
The class will be held at
South Bowie Library | 15301 Hall Road | Bowie, MD.
To enroll, call the library at 240-455-5451 to have someone fill out
the registration form on the website or visit the events calendar
(www.art-stream.org/take-a-class) and click ‘Register’ in the top left corner.
